The group home page is the landing page when you navigate into a group. It is a configurable widget page — built with the same widgets and layout editor as dashboards and other group pages — so its contents are whatever a group administrator has chosen to put there.
What you will find#
By default, a new group’s home page shows the Welcome widget, which summarises the group’s setup (item types, pages, members) and offers quick links to get started.
Administrators can replace or extend this by adding any page widget — for example an item list, a calendar, a chart, or a free-text panel — to surface the information that matters most to the group.
Customization#
Group administrators with page-edit permission can edit the home page exactly like any other page: add, remove, rearrange, and resize widgets. See the Group Admin → Pages section for details.
Tips#
- The home page is just a page named “home” — edit it the same way you edit any other group page.
- Use a Free Text widget for a written introduction or guidelines, and an Item List widget for a live view of current work.
