The general settings page lets group administrators configure the basic identity of a group.
Available settings#
- Group name – The display name shown in navigation and listings. It can be edited inline.
- Group icon – Upload an image to visually identify the group across the interface.
Deleting the group#
Deleting a group is a destructive action that requires confirmation and removes the group and its data. It is restricted to administrators with the appropriate permission.
Tips#
- Renaming a group takes effect immediately everywhere the group appears.
- Configure the rest of the group — members, roles, item types, and pages — from the other sections of the admin sidebar.
